Can I shop with confidence at Tribalarts.nl ?
Yes, you can. Every item listed is accurately described, the descriptions are supplemented by (multiple) photographs, and additional photo’s may be requested if those provided are insufficient to allow you to make a decision on purchase. All material and visible defects are indicated and all questions related to any item for sale will be answered to the best of our ability. There should be no surprises when you receive your purchase. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return it at your own cost within 7 days of receipt. No questions asked. Provided the returned item is received in the same condition it was in when dispatched, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price, less actual shipping costs and expenses.
Can I receive additional photo's and/or information ?
Yes, this is always possible. Just drop us a line with your requests. We will send you the information by email and or place additional photo’s directly on our website and let you know when we have done so.
Why do you price your items all in ?
We want to be as transparent as possible with our pricing. You see directly what it will cost you to receive your purchase in your home. No surprise at check out when you have your total bill calculated.
For shipping and packaging we add an average amount per item to cover our cost.
How do I place an order if I don't want to make a purchase online ?
You may also order by fax (++ 31 20 6655069) or email (info@tribalarts.nl).
Please let us know what item you would like to buy and supply us with your credit card (visa/amex/mastercard) and address information. For us to be able to charge your credit card offline we need your credit card number, expiration date, name as stated on your card, your written allowance to charge your card for the applicable amount and your signature.
We strongly advise you to send your credit card information only by fax or mail and not by email.
What forms of payment does Tribalarts.nl accept ?
You must use a credit card to place an order in the online store.
If you do not want to use a credit card you can also pay us by transferring the money directly to our account. Please contact us for instructions. You can also pick the item up in our store in the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam. There you can also pay cash or with PIN.
Is it safe to use my credit card online ?
We have chosen to work with PayPal because it is the safest and easiest way for you to use your credit card online. If you would like to read more about PayPal and online security please visit www.paypal.com
What shipping options does Tribalarts.nl offer ?
Your purchase will be shipped with TNT post (Dutch postal services) as an insured parcel.

When can I expect my order to arrive ?
Your order will be handled within 3 working days upon receipt of your order in most cases. Average shipping times within the Netherlands are 2 working days, within the European Union 2 till 5 working days and outside the E.U. 5 till 10 working days.
Do you deliver to addresses outside the Netherlands ?
Yes. We will ship your order to any country in the world.
Who is responsible for duties and taxes for orders shipped outside the Netherlands ?
The recipients of shipments are responsible for any duties and taxes.
Do you offer tax refund on items shipped outside the E.U. ?
Tribalarts.nl does not offer tax refunds on any items for sale regardless the destination of shipping.
What is your policy for returns ?
The purchaser has the right to terminate the agreement within seven days of receiving the ordered items without being required to provide reasons. In such cases, the purchaser shall return the ordered items to tribalarts.nl, indicating his/her PayPal or bank account number with the return shipment. The purchaser shall bear the costs of the return shipment. Tribalarts.nl will credit the purchase amount less the shipping and packaging costs to the purchaser within 30 days of receipt of the return shipment.
What information is collected when I place an order online ?
Tribalarts.nl respects your privacy. When you make a purchase online we will ask you to provide the personally identifiable information necessary to fulfil your order that may include your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, and credit card number. This is the same information requested when you place an order by fax or through the email. For online orders we also require your email address so you can receive order and shipping confirmation emails and so we can communicate with you if we have difficulty processing your order.
Do you share information with other companies ?
We only collect your details in order to process your order and communicate directly with you with regards to your order. We do not share this information with any other organisation or company.
