A stunning handcrafted silver fish from India made with over 800 grams of first grade silver measuring over half a meter! The body has been crafted out of 64 rows of scales which makes the fish very flexibel and lifelike. The fishe's mouth opens up revealing it's hollow inside.
A fish like this is a traditional wedding gift in India. Often the fish itself was filled with paper money as well. The symbolic meaning of a fish in India originates from it being a water animal.
